Makeblock mBot seriesMakeblock mBot Series is an Arduino-based robotics platform. All the models are compatible with Makeblock DIY platform, which contains 600+ mechanical and electronic parts. Easy-to-use Scratch-based learning platform mBlock brings the cutting-age technology to the classroom, which enables every child to be able to learn programming, robotics, electronics, mechanics, AI, IoT and other STEAM related topics easily. The series includes mBot, mBot Ranger and Ultimate 2.0 - 10 in 1.
What is mBot Ranger?MBot Ranger - modular 3 in 1 educational robot brings the possibility of making 3 different shapes for 3 times more fun: an off-road vehicle with tank-like tracks (Land Raider), a three-wheeled race car (Dashing Raptor) and a self-balancing bird Nervous Bird ). Modular mBot Ranger - the "big brother" of the popular robot mBot brings a number of new functionalities that allow solving more complex programming tasks and the implementation of activities that encourage the development of logical thinking and problem-solving ability. Whether it’s a forest trail or a pre-designed polygon, the mBot Ranger can conquer any terrain. It consists of about 100 parts (mechanical parts and electronic modules) and contains 6 types of sensors: light sensor, temperature sensor, sound sensor, ultrasonic sensor, line monitoring sensor and gyroscope. A wide range of sensors allows the Ranger to perform a variety of functions, including data collection, line tracking and obstacle avoidance. The Ranger motherboard is equipped with 10 functionality expansion interfaces to which more than 100 electronic modules can be connected to achieve a wide range of functions. |
