Makeblock mBot Series is an Arduino-based robotics platform. All the models are compatible with Makeblock DIY platform, which contains 600+ mechanical and electronic parts. Easy-to-use Scratch-based learning platform mBlock brings the cutting-age technology to the classroom, which enables every child to be able to learn programming, robotics, electronics, mechanics, AI, IoT and other STEAM related topics easily.

The series includes robots: mBot, mBot Ranger and Ultimate 2.0.

Ultimate 2.0 is the most advanced 10-in-1 educational robot kit that has 1600+ mechanical parts and electronic modules that allows you to build 10+ models from one set.

Ultimate 2.0 also has superb motor control and great compatibility with Arduino & Raspberry Pi so that you can build a range of complex designs.

The Kit includes over 160+ metal parts and 80+ types of electronic modules including our all new powerful MegaPi main controller, 3 encoder motors, 1 robotic arm, 4 DC motors, 3 sensors and 1 Bluetooth module. It also comes with a shutter and phone stand for easy photo taking.

Compatible with Both Arduino & Raspberry Pi

With a strong motor-driving ability and ease of use, MegaPi is a microcontroller board based on ATmega2560 that can rapidly control and combine different kinds of motors. It is capable of simultaneously driving up to 10 servos, 8 DC motors/ 4 stepper motors and have a maximum output current of 10A. Whether you’re an Arduino or Raspberry Pi lover, MegaPi can fit your needs.

10 forms of Ultimate:

• Robotic Arm Tank - includes a mobile caterpillar stand with a moving robotic arm. The robot can retrieve, pick up and bring objects to different terrains.
• Robotic Bartender - includes a mobile stand with wheels with an adjustable bracket. The robot can independently pour the liquid into the container and bring it to the desired position.
• Camera Dolly - includes a mobile stand with wheels and a base that rotates 360 degrees. With the addition of a cell phone or camera, the robot can record.
• Catapult Ram - robot catapult.
• 3D Capture A - features a platform that rotates 360 degrees and includes a mobile phone holder and a rotating structure. The robot can panorama the environment or simulate a 3D scan.
• 3D Capture B - captures a rotating object while the phone stays in place. With free Arqspin software, it can capture animated rotating images and other 3D effects.
• Self-Balancing Robot - a robot that maintains its own balance and moves back and forth independently.
• Rolling Tank - a robot that overturns and continues to move when hitting an obstacle.
• Robotic Ant - a robot in the shape of an ant with 6 legs.
• Detecting Robot - a mobile robot with caterpillars, with a line tracking sensor and an ultrasonic sensor. It can move on uneven surfaces, follow lines and avoid obstacles.

SOFTWARE

The Ultimate 2.0 supports Python programming (by combining with Raspberry Pi), Arduino IDE programming, graphical programming, and Node JS. For beginners, it comes with a specially-designed APP, enabling you to control the robot by simply dragging and dropping blocks.
