The board is based on the ATmega328P microcontroller (datasheet), has 14 digital input/output pins (6 of which can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, 16 MHz quartz crystal, USB port, power socket, ICSP header and resdet button. It contains everything you need to support a microcontroller; simply connect it to your computer using a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.
Arduino UNO is the most used board in the whole Arduino family.
